Why I’m Running
I am running for Gwinnett County District 4 Commissioner because I am passionate about Gwinnett County, our citizens and overall mission to “deliver superior services in partnership with our community.”
I am a relatable, relevant, ordinary citizen leading with extraordinary changes, that support Gwinnett County values in “excellence, creativity, innovation and technologies “such as:
- Leveraging of Technology thru the enhancement & utilization of our social media applications.
- Increasing concerted efforts towards expansion of Gwinnett County Transit Local bus routes.
- Enlarging Community Outreach opportunities through more Public Private Partnerships.
- Increasing engagement and diversification in citizen appointments to councils, boards, committees..
I support leveraging of technology thru the enhancement & utilization of our social media applications evoking communication capabilities by providing citizens the opportunity to opt-in or opt-out of receipt of information through podcasting, tweeting, sharing of vides through hyperlinks or cloud base accesses. For example, budget proposals or upcoming business meetings.
I support increasing concerted efforts towards expansion of Gwinnett County Transit Local bus routes while simultaneously partnering with the Gwinnett County Transit Expansion team through the Connect Gwinnett Transit Development plan and its “Sustainability, Stewardship and Service Quality” focuses.
I support enlarging Community Outreach opportunities through more Public Private Partnerships and “Home Base” engagement programs where citizens invite Private Public Partnerships and Gwinnett County into their neighborhoods to demonstrate “sustainability” or other county missions and values.
Finally, I am running for Gwinnett County District 4 Commissioner because I believe I could make as positive difference since I am re-investing in the future of this great diverse county that afforded me and other citizens vivacious opportunities to grow, flourish, prosper, raise a family, collaborate, and utilize educational, recreation and parks, and a host of other vital resources.
